Samuel, a US NAVY Veteran, has been an electrician for 13 years. He began his electrical career later in life by attending the NTEJATC Electrical Training Center. His schooling consisted of an On-The-Job training 5-year program where he received his Journeyman’s electrical license. The program was accredited through North Lake College, where he received an AAS in Electrical Construction.
Samuel’s journey through the trade brought him to AMEX in 2011 along the side of his brother, Conrad. In 2019, Samuel became owner of AMEX. He enjoys the involvement with customers, general contractors, employees, and the daily duties of the business. His duties consist of but are not limited to business management, estimating, project management, office operations, electrical operations, etc.
Samuel is a member of the IBEW Local Union 20, Duck Creek Masonic Lodge #1419, and Hella Shriners. He holds a 3rd-degree black belt in taekwondo and is a certified instructor. Occasionally, Samuel returns to the NTEJATC Electrical Training Center to assist with the math refresher program, a requirement for all incoming electrical apprentices.
Samuel is married to an amazing and supportive wife, a U.S Air Force Veteran. They have three incredible boys and a granddaughter.
